Applications are invited for a fixed-term Departmental Lecturer (Social Anthropology) post based at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology, School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, Oxford. The role offered is either (a) full-time, between 1 October and 31 December 2018; followed by 18.75 hours per week, part-time, between 1 January and 30 June 2019; or (b) full-time, between 1 October 2018 and 31 March 2019.
The School is seeking an enthusiastic teacher and lecturer with a doctorate in a relevant field, both breadth and depth of knowledge of one or more of the key subject areas of the post, and a full command of the relevant literature. You will teach, examine and supervise graduate students on the School's Social Anthropology programmes.
