The texts included in this volume provide an overview of the processes of cultural heritage forms linked to the sea. Beyond the state of the maritime heritage itself, the book is interested in the way in which this heritage is being built and how it is used today. The authors address their theoretical proposals from ethnographic and historical cases located in Catalonia, the Basque Country, Galicia, Andalucia and the Yucatan in Mexico and Brittany in France. The multiple views of the current processes of maritime heritage of culture contained in this volume seek to begin a journey of collaboration between theory and practice of maritime heritage.
