Scientific cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Andorra and ICRPC
The Ministry of Culture of the Government of Andorra and the Catalan Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (ICRPC) have signed a scientific collaboration. The head of the Ministry of Culture and the University of Girona in 2008 signed an agreement of scientific cooperation for the realization of a study on the Renaissance and Baroque in Andorra study carried out by the Research Group Modern Art of Girona. Given the interest emanating from the catalog sent at the time the research group , it was deemed advisable to work together in the publication of these studies in order to inform the general public that the rich artistic heritage and culture.
This agreement has been made by M. I. Mr. Stephen Albert Garcia, Minister of Culture of the Government of Andorra and Professor Joaquim Nadal i Farreras , director of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (ICRPC).
The Catalan Institute for Cultural Heritage Research elaborate texts published on the artistic heritage of the modern era in Andorra ( XVI , XVII and XVIII ) , which is based on the work sheets of the catalog that is sent to the Ministry Girona Culture holder. Dr. Juan Bosch Ballbona ICRPC technical director and member of the Research Group of the University of Girona Modern Art will coordinate the publication of the research conducted. The Department of Cultural Heritage of Andorra writes the section on techniques, procedures and maintenance of pictorial works studied.
The work will be conducted during 2014.
