Research projects

The ICRPC's research has a fundamental foundation of basic research but at the same time an impact approach. Research that contributes to addressing important social challenges for Catalan society, and of European and global interest. From issues of preservation and interpretation of elements, landscapes or traditions, to explorations of identity, collective memory, conflicts, inclusion policies or sustainable development.

Commitment to stakeholder engagement. Research activity incorporates interaction with the sector and communities, including participatory processes (consultations, crowdsourcing, co-creation, participatory governance) that act as catalysts for impact and innovation.

International connection and projection. Through networking with other international centers, European research projects, international publications and hosting visiting researchers from all over, the ICRPC is involved in the European and international cultural heritage scene, which is experiencing a decisive moment for research.
