  • Description

  • This study undertakes a necessary line of analysis that was yet to be undertaken, with the main objective of reflecting on museology and its contributions to the restoration of democratic memory. Particularly noteworthy are the temporary exhibitions and the various interpretations of them, becoming the cross-cutting axis of this discipline, which plays a fundamental role in the reconstruction of contemporary history. This collective work is composed of articles by leading authors who present the experience of their institutions, becoming specific cases of museographic and memorial application. This reading is complemented by other, more general chapters that frame the book's theme and are essential for understanding the current landscape and its evolution.
