Description
Archaeological and heritage study of the Roman villa of Collet Est (Calonge and Sant Antoni) and its holdings. The current archaeological work program, initiated in 2014, is the result of an agreement established between the Calonge City Council and the Laboratory of Archaeology and Prehistory of the University of Girona, and is included within the R&D program funded by the current Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness “From the oppidum to the city (III). The transformation of the city and the transition to new models of territorial structuring (HAR2013-40778-P)” and the four-year archaeological research program “Transformations in the patterns of habitat and territorial exploitation in the ager of Gerunda and Emporiae (3rd-8th centuries AD)”.
