The institute presents number 6 dedicated to maritime heritage
February 24th took place the presentation of the book “Ser o no ser de mar. Arenys: Història, Patrimoni i Antropologia marítima” ("To Be or not to Be from the Sea. Arenys: History, Heritage and Anthropology"), by authors Eliseu Carbonell, Miguel Doñate and Pablo Romero, will take place. It was publishedby the l’Institut Català de Recerca en Patrimoni Cultural together with the Museu Marítim.
The presentation was at the Sala d’Actes de la Biblioteca Pare Fidel Fita d’Arenys de Mar.

Eliseu Carbonell, researcher of the ICRPC and one of the authors, together with Miguel Doñate and Pablo Romero, of the last volume of the collection ICRPC Llibres: Ser o no ser de mar. Arenys: Història, patrimoni i antropologia maritime, was interviewed by the journalist Joan-Albert Lligonya at 360 Radio. In the interview they talk about the meaning of the book title “Ser o no ser de mar” and the Catalans relationship with the sea and with the maritime heritage, from the analysis of the Arenys seaport case.
