Technical Specialist at the Observatory of Publics of Cultural Heritage of Catalonia (OPPCC), specialized in data analysis and management applied to the cultural sector.
Graduated in Geography from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Urban and Metropolitan Studies from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and IERMB. Specialized in the preparation, writing, and design of statistical reports in the socio-demographic and cultural fields.
At the Observatory of Publics of Cultural Heritage of Catalonia, his work focuses on designing and developing analytical tools to better understand the audiences of museums and heritage institutions. This includes creating interactive dashboards with Power BI, applying data processing methodologies, and generating reports that enable cultural institutions to make informed decisions. Additionally, he works on data visualization using tools such as Canva and Flourish, facilitating the dissemination and understanding of the results obtained. He also provides support in the development and maintenance of the Observatory's databases and website management.
Previously, he worked as a support technician at the Observatory of the Regional Council of Vallès Occidental, where he collected and analyzed statistical data to produce socio-economic reports and territorial dissemination products. He also completed an internship at the Barcelona Housing Observatory, where he delved into the study of residential mobility in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, developing his master's thesis titled "Recent Patterns of Residential Mobility in the Barcelona Metropolis." In this work, he analyzed the evolution of residential mobility and the factors influencing it in this geographical area.
Additionally, he has specialized training in data analysis, including introductory courses in Power BI and statistics with IBM SPSS Statistics. His career combines strong specialization in data analysis and information visualization with an applied vision in cultural management, contributing to a better understanding of audiences and optimizing resources for heritage institutions.
