Description
Currently, museums have been added to the agendas of families and schools as cultural spaces to visit. Although it is with the school that the boys and girls usually visit the museums, gradually the parents accompany them to participate actively in the activities of the museums, exhibitions or cultural spaces. The task of creating educational departments in the 1990s has gradually borne fruit, but there is still much left to do in order for museums to be attractive enough for children to be able to enjoy the pieces on display and for their message to reach them in the appropriate language. In most cases, the museographic discourses are aimed at an adult public who must act as an interpreter for a children's public.
This investigation aims to analyze what are the behavior patterns of boys and girls in different spaces of Girona museums.

To establish the factors that influence a child’s observation of and interaction with the museum.
To analyse the relationship between child and museum with regard to diversity of space and the subject matter offered by five of the museums in the city of Girona.
To analyse how the child develops inside a museum with a view to establishing parameters for emitter-receptor relations.
To identify and determine the social, cultural and educational factors taking place.
