From 2006 to 2014, he worked as an editor for Engega magazine, disseminating research from the University of Girona. In 2015, he directed the Jaume Casademont Private Foundation, and since 2016, as a freelance professional, he has specialized in cultural heritage inventories. Notable projects include his contributions to the Noucentista Urban Architecture and Landscape Map (2018) and the Baixa Tordera Agricultural Space (2017–2018). He concluded this phase in 2019 with the Special Urban Plan for the Protection of Architectural, Archaeological, and Environmental Heritage of Vilobí d’Onyar, approved in 2021. In 2020, he worked as a communications advisor in the office of the Minister of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

In 2019, he began collaborating with the Catalan Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (ICRPC), specializing in the study of railway heritage in Catalonia. His work includes research for the Consortium of Girona Greenways (Els secrets de les Vies Verdes, 2021) and studies on the heritage recognition of former railway lines (Les traces dels carrilets gironins, 2022). These studies led the ICRPC to propose to Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) an inventory of its historical heritage (Cultural Heritage of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya: Diagnosis and Proposed Actions, 2020–2021). Currently, he participates in inter-administrative agreements (2021–2025) and in FGC’s Railway Heritage Commission. He has authored several inventories on historical railways.

His main research focus is on the origins of tourism in the Catalan mountains in relation to modern transportation, as reflected in his doctoral thesis, The Mountain in Catalonia: Moral Institution and Tourism Business. The Mountain Railways at Great Inclines Project (1917–1936). He also investigates railway labor in Catalonia, contributing to the project Civil War and Repression in Catalan Railways and co-authoring Ferroviaris en Guerra (2024).

He has published in journals such as Journal of Tourism History, Locus Amoenus, Ayer, TST Transportes, Servicios y Telecomunicaciones, and Fulls de l’Arxiu de Santa Maria de Mataró, in addition to contributing book chapters and disseminating his research in conferences and media.

Since January 2025, he has been the editor-in-chief of the scientific journal TST, Transportes, Servicios y Telecomunicaciones.
