Holder of a bachelor’s degree in Economic Sciences from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and a master’s degree in Cultural Management and Policies from the University of Barcelona.
Director of ARTImetria, Estratègies per a la Cultura, a consultancy company in the field of cultural management and marketing.
He has advised a range of institutions and public administrations on strategic and marketing plans, communication plans, visitor studies and cultural tourism development programmes. He has led studies on the culture economy, particularly in the field of cultural participation and the economy of the visual arts.
Lecturer forvarious master’s degrees: Cultural Heritage Management and Museology at the University of Barcelona; Cultural and Historical Heritage Management at the Complutense University of Madrid; World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development from the University of Barcelona and the University of Turin; and Cultural Management at the International University of Catalonia.
He has also given courses and lectures at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the Politècnica de Catalunya, and the universities of Pompeu Fabra, Castelló, Castilla-La Mancha, Girona, the Balearic Islands, Lleida, Nacional de Colombia, Navarra, Nice-Sophia Antipolis, Valladolid and Vic, as well as at the following institutions: Spanish Ministry of Culture, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Regional Government of Andalucia, Regional Council of Vizcaya, Regional Government of Galicia, UNESCO Centre in Galicia, Inter-Island Council of Tenerife, Pedro Cabrera Foundation of Tenerife, Ortega y Gasset Foundation of Madrid and Buenos Aires, and the Government of Peru’s Institute of Culture.
